In its second statement on the Bologna-process, CLAIU focuses on quality assurance and accreditation. CLAIU welcomes the setting-up of ENQA but stresses that quality assurance and accreditation must not be confused. The introduction of Bachelor/Master-structures should be accompanied by the introduction of accreditation mechanisms with a compulsory involvement of professional organisations. Especially in engineering, accreditation has to take into account that there are two different profiles of study programmes.
